We advise our clients in all aspects of copyright law, including publishing law and the law of collecting societies. Our activities comprise, in particular, the review and drafting of copyright license agreements. Furthermore, we enforce copyright and ancillary rights before courts. One main focus of our practice is the protection of works of applied art, relying not only on copyright, but also on design, trademark and unfair competition law. We further have particular expertise in the field of musical works, music publishing rights and GEMA (Society for musical performing and mechanical reproduction rights). Further we advise on issues relating to software, including open source software.
